Synopsis

Vietnam war escapee Edward Prendick is rescued by alcoholic degenerate Montgomery Davenport, and taken back to a mysterious island where Montgomery and the doctor surgically turn animals into grotesque "men", as the island's hierarchy slowly descends into madness.

Description of M'ling (Filthy Ape):

A humanized Chimpanzee with alopecia, M'ling is a timid, lonely, and stuttering beast man who is forced to do Montgomery's dirty work and cook food, all while wearing a greasy 3 piece suit and wooden mask due to his appearance. Eventually when Montgomery's abuse proves too cruel M'ling snaps, ripping of Montgomery's face, and running off screaming into the jungle where he belongs.
