After the defeat of the Spellbinder, Helena Kyle-Wayne now has an unexpected visitor at Wayne Manor. Talia al Ghul, the mother of the late Damian Wayne, has told Helena that Superman, due to his split personalities, is slowly losing his mind and needs to be stopped before he cannot be stopped. So, Talia promises Helena that she would resurrect her father, Bruce Wayne, to stop Kal-El's reign of terror as the Dark Knight of Tomorrow, with one condition: Helena must kill all the current prisoners in Arkham Asylum to remove any distractions for Talia. Reluctantly, Helena agrees, knowing that this will be for the good of the people of Gotham City, rather than her own good.
