Katniss Everdeen lives in District 12. She and her friend Gale must hunt in the out of bounds forest outside the district to provide food for their families. Every year each district sends two tributes to the Hunger Games, a game show that entertains the citizens of the Capitol, which rules the twelve districts. When Prim, Katniss' little sister, is chosen as a tribute, Katniss volunteers to go to the games instead of her, so as to protect her from death. Her and Peeta, the two tributes, must fight the other tributes from all the districts, because in the end, there can only be one winner...
