(The film must have a different cast and crew than the TV show) The 5 Crane siblings all lived in Hill House when they were kids, until their dad took them and left, all because of an incident with their mother. When one of the siblings die while visiting the house, the others (now grown up) are forced into returning to the horrors they faced at Hill House to figure out why the ghosts of the past have returned.
