Story Plot
When Hal Jordan receives a mystic ring from the dying alien Abin Sur, he becomes the first human to become a member of the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic police force. Meanwhile, Neal Emerson, a brilliant scientist who believed he had absorbed too much magnetic energy, but failed to do so. He saw a news report showing the Power Ring, and came up with a theory that the ring could help him.
