A sequel to The Terror Of Dracula, inspired by 1968's Dracula Has Risen From The Grave and 1971's Twins Of Evil. After the events of the last film, an acolyte of Dracula has taken his ashes and buried them in his old home in Transylvania. A few years later a town near Dracula's old castle has been caught in a cold war between a corrupt and bloodthirsty group of witchfinders and the sadistic hedonist Baron Karnstein. The church, sensing the unrest, sends a priest to bring order to the rogue witchfinders, and deal properly with the Baron. The Priest's young niece is also being courted by a young man in the town who has recently lost his faith, which the witchfinders use to their advantage. Meanwhile, Karnstein falls in with Dracula's acolytes, and performs a ritual to become a vampire himself as to gain eternal life and the highest hedonistic pleasures. As the now vampiric Baron begins to wreak havoc on the town, the witchfinders ramp up their burnings, and Dracula's acolytes scheme in the shadows.
