Once a celebrated Texan stuntman, Johnny Blaze lives a life of hellfire and repetition as the bounty-hunter of the demonic Mephisto, the devil himself. As The Ghost Rider, Johnny is forced into a flaming skeletal form whenever demons from Hell make their way into the real world. One day, Johnny finds out that his long-lost stepbrother, Danny Ketch, has a similar curse. Managing to make a deal with an immortal man called Adam, Johnny frees himself of his curse, only to find out he'll have to get it back when Danny is corrupted by his own hellish overlord.
