Fan Casting Sir. Michael Marsh in The Gatekeepers [the Power of Five] 2020-2026

Dr. Marsh is a veteran science advisor to the British government specialising in nuclear energy. In his early life he learned about the Old Ones, as well as the gate in Jayne's village, Little Malling, that could return them to this world. He vowed to do this to gain as much control over the world as possible while decieving the entire world about his aims. Unlike most of the other villains of the series he presents himself as benevolent and a good man on the surface but beneath this he is extremely vile, power-hungry from the Old Ones as well as sadistic and somewhat unhinged. He has a notable death near the end of Raven's Gate: when Chaos, King of the Old Ones very briefly returns to Earth Marsh is thrilled and excited to see his ''master'' here but is then horrified when Chaos reaches out and crushes him in his hand: ''Michael Marsh died horribly, in the grip of the creature he had served all his life''.
