Fan Casting Matthew Freeman in The Gatekeepers [the Power of Five] 2020-2026

Matthew is the first Gatekeeper introduced in the story, with the power of telekensis. Orphaned at a young age [in an incident he had some precognition of] he was sent to live with his aunt and uncle and then onto the English countryside under Jayne Deverill. He then discovers the history of the Old Ones from Dr. Dravid and the satanist nature of Jayne's village: he narrowly prevents the Old Ones from returning the first time [with the aid of nuclear energy] and is contacted by the Nexus who warn him the Old Ones will try again. Matthew is stoic, somewhat cynical due to his past, tough but caring to his friends and loved ones. He sets a personal vendetta against Chaos, the King of the Old Ones.
