Gregor Malenkov was born to a rich family in Russia and at a young age decided to become a Catholic priest: his father disagree and sent him to travel the world and see the riches of the West. Gregor was even more repelled by the inequality and darkness of humanity and retreated to the Cry for Mercy Monastery in Ukraine. There he served as a good and faithful priest, selfless and charitable for many years but his faith began to slowly and gradually erode: this was accelerated when he learned about the existence of the Old Ones and their reign over humanity. Driven to madness by the diary describing them, Gregor and six of his fellow priests slaughtered the others and became servants of the Old Ones. In the fourth film Necropolis he manages to capture Scarlett Adams after she accidentally uses one of the Gatekeepers' doorways and enters the door in the Ukranian monastery. Gregor is a symbol of extreme cynicism, the power the Old Ones wield over humanitys' minds, a degradation of morality and he also possesses sadism due to his disappointment in humanity.
