Fan Casting Fabien in The Gatekeepers [the Power of Five] 2020-2026

Dr. Fabian is a writer of the history of his home country, Peru, as well as a member of the Nexus. Initially helpful and somewhat more easy-going than the other Nexus members he and Matt strike up a genuine friendship. He is highly knowledgeable about the history of the Old Ones and the time they ruled as well as able to help Matthew and Richard navigate Peru. After their separation he re-appears near the end of the book and film where he is revealed to be a ''mole'' who has been collaborating with Diego Salamanda to help him bring the Old Ones back to this world through the use of satellites. He is in visibly poor shape, drinking heavily. He attempts to justify his actions, appearing somewhat mentally unstable and is later killed in a clash with one of Salamanda's other assistants, Police Captain Rodrigo.
