In August 1995. Mikiya first meets Shiki in a white kimono during a snowy day. After seeing her again at the high school freshmen ceremony, Mikiya decides to introduce himself to her. A series of murders have caught the eye of both Shiki Ryougi and Daisuke Akimi. Daisuke is Mikiya's cousin and is investigating these murders.
