With a gun in hand he waits for the game master to show up, shooting him as soon as he opens the door. However it was his brother Conrad, with champagne in toe. The game was all a setup from Conrad to help Nicholas get over the death of their parents. Once Nicholas sees what he’s done, he throws himself off the edge of the building.
