Its rainy and stormy, a couple Ingrid and Terrence enter a house with candles and Ingrid says “we shouldn’t be here, just can’t let ourselves into a strangers home”, Terrence: this place is empty nobody has got a mind. They stop to see a painting of a blonde man missing a foot, Terrence: look at his face, Ingrid: what happened to his foot?. Then the title comes on THE FOOT in red. Then Terrence and Ingrid continue their walk, Ingrid says: it sounded like someone was hopping. Terrence says “it's nothing, it's just your imagination”. Then he exclaims and asks if she kicked him, she shakes her head and they turn around to see a disembodied foot hopping into a room, Ingrid calmly turns to see him scream. In bed Ingrid says “you know you really need to cut your toenails” Terrence brushing his teeth says “what was that?”, then the foot appears between her feet and it jumps into her face and she screams, she then grabs the foot and pulls the foot out of her face and jumps out of bed and covers her face.
