Barry Allen lost his mother at age 9, and his father was imprisoned in Iron Heights Penitentiary for the murder, and because of that Barry was under the care of police captain Daryl Frye. when he grew up Barry became a forensic scientist for the central city police department, and on a rainy night in his laboratory, Barry was struck by lightning while bathed in chemicals, and after a few weeks hospitalized, Barry woke up with an accelerated metabolism and with the ability to run at high speeds. with these powers Barry creates a protective suit with a symbol of lightning on his chest and decides to use these powers to fight crime and save people, under the name Flash, officially becoming the fastest man alive
