Story Plot

The second film of Phase 2, the Flash’s solo movie is going to be both an origin and time travel story. After Barry Allen’s mother, Nora Allen, gets killed by a yellow blur, and his father gets convicted for her death, but Barry believes that he is innocent, even though there was no evidence. After a few years, Barry becomes a criminologist and gets struck by lightning and doused with chemicals, a side effect being that he gets superspeed. So Barry tests out his powers by stopping small crimes or incidents in his journey to becoming the Flash. The villain, or in this case, villains, will be Digger Harkness, also known as Captain Boomerang, and Leonard Snart, also known as Captain Cold. However, a while later in the film, Barry is still trying to cope with the death of his mother, and thinks of going back in time to stop his mother's killer, and after he does, with the help of Batman and Cyborg, he goes back in time. Little does he know, that he's also inadvertently made a new timeline as he meets a familiar hero during his early years. There will also be a post-credits scene that teases the cause of the yellow blur that killed the Flash’s mother, being revealed to be Eobard Thawne, the Reverse Flash. This would be released around late-2023.
