I had an idea of if there was an alternate universe, where DC decided to start off simple and make a DC movie universe, starting off with an origin story of The Flash. I imagine this using a retrofuturistic style for the movie as a nod to the time period when comic book heroes were popular. The story is just an origin story of how Barry Allen becomes the Flash, without the complicated flashpoint event (which is what the 2022 one did for it's first movie). And probably use one of the Rogues as the main villain.read more

Description of Patty Spivot (Barry's Best Friend):

Now, Patty in this story is very different as instead of being a love interest, I thought it would be cool to make Patty a close friend and work colleague for Barry. As I want to show an example that a boy and girl can be best friends without one of them being gay, which is a common trope in most media. Patty also knows that Barry has a crush on Iris West, and tries to hitch them two together.
