I had an idea of if there was an alternate universe, where DC decided to start off simple and make a DC movie universe, starting off with an origin story of The Flash. I imagine this using a retrofuturistic style for the movie as a nod to the time period when comic book heroes were popular. The story is just an origin story of how Barry Allen becomes the Flash, without the complicated flashpoint event (which is what the 2022 one did for it's first movie). And probably use one of the Rogues as the main villain.read more

Description of Iris West (Barry's Love Interest):

For my version of Iris. I would like someone close to Lucas Till's age during this point in 2008. She shares similar traits to Raimi's MJ (but without the toxic relationship), where Iris is the girl-next-door, that dreams of becoming a reporter one day, and during school never really noticed Barry, until he became the Flash as she tries to find out more about him. Curious and bold, that isn't afraid of danger, but is more modest and charismatic.
