Eobard Thawne, also known as Reverse Flash, is the main antagonist of The Flash: Speed of Light. A scientist from the 25th century who originally idolized the Flash and even replicated the accident that gave him his powers but was driven insane and became obsessed with ruining his life upon learning that he was destined to become his greatest enemy - the Reverse Flash. He is also responsible for killing Barry’s mother Nora and framing his father Henry for her murder.
