Barry Allen is a forensic scientist for the CCPD. He’s dating the girl of his dreams and became a big brother in law to young Wally West. One night when Barry was finding proof to his mother’s killer many years ago, Barry was struck by lightning and some of the chemicals got to him. Barry woke up to learn he has super speed. He runs to meet his surrogate father, Silas Stone who took him when he lost his mother and his father was arrested. Silas learned of his speed and agreed to keep it secret
