Born with marvelous powers, raised in a world massacred by chaos, and no family to call his own, a young hedgehog from the future named Silver the Hedgehog and his closest friend Blaze the Cat, make a journey to find the threat behind his post-apocalyptic time. Silver is told that it is a hedgehog named Sonic by a mysterious ally named Mephiles, who has taken the looks of Shadow, the ultimate life form.
