The Extra Guest
By Sep
In the bustling heart of London, Jamie Rook is a charming, quick-witted 34-year-old who can make anyone feel welcome—except himself. After losing his job, he launches One More Guest, an unconventional service that hires him out as an extra guest at parties, weddings, and awkward family gatherings. As Jamie becomes an unexpected fixture in the lives of eccentric strangers, professional boundaries blur into genuine friendships, complicated romances, and hilariously messy situations. But while he’s making everyone else feel less alone, Jamie must confront an uncomfortable truth: he’s spent years being the life of every party while barely showing up for his own life. A warm, sharply funny, and heartfelt comedy about unlikely connections, imperfect relationships, and finding where you truly belong.
