It's sacrilege. Recasting Evil Dead. Only Bruce Campbell can portray Ash Williams because he is the character. Its the only way it works sometimes. That being said. Lets face it folks. The king has left the building and this is just a fun fantasy cast for today. A comedic tribute to the Raimi trilogy. Whomever is playing Ash is going to be his own kind. Either way.
