Age: 29 1/2. The second-in-command of the Dwarfs under Bones, Surly is a creative but emotionally volatile man who takes any criticism poorly. His many behaviors and reactions are not easily predicted, and even he may fear that he will harm those he loves. In spite of it all, he is a physically oriented warrior who revels in competition and risk, defends his fellow Dwarfs, and fears nothing anyone can do to him - except losing the ability to fully use his body. The idea of him ever becoming paralyzed in body or mind would be death to him.
