An evil Kettral leach (a person with rare and powerful telekinetic ability), also in Valyn’s class of cadets. Balendin learned early that everyone hates leaches, and he moved quickly and decisively to cut out whatever human empathy and feeling he was born with. He learned early that it’s easier to evoke hatred than love in people. Balendin is very smart, reserved and utterly ruthless.
