On a split of land cut off by the Gulf, three Victorian summer houses stand against the encroaching sand. Two of the houses at Beldame are still used. Description of The Unnamed Savage Girl (Flashback - 1815):

The earliest Savage family member to have knowingly been cursed. She is only seen in a flashback while Leigh tells her story to the family as an example of the family’s dark and terrible history. Seemingly dead following a stillbirth, she is accidentally entombed alive with her dead baby. She survives for a few days by consuming her dead infant before succumbing to dehydration, suffocation, or starvation. The family later discovers their tragic mistake when they go to visit her mausoleum. Aged 18-20.
