Theodora “Teddy” Blake, a mousy brunette from a modest background, is excited to start her freshman year at the prestigious liberal arts college Amberley University. She quickly bonds with her roommate, Michelle "Elle" Yang, a violinist also here on scholarship. Despite Elle’s warnings to avoid drama, Teddy becomes intrigued by the 'missing' posters around campus for Clara Bell, a girl who vanished the previous year- she's a journalist, after all, and she'll never say no to a story.
