Fan Casting Monster in The Dark Mind

A man who ends up being infected with a disease that causes him to have a sortof werewolf transformation at night into a monster, making him grow taller and thinner, gain sharp claws and teeth, grow long horns, and a feral, primal mindset. He tries to keep this transformation at bay so he doesn't hurt anyone, but it doesn't always work.
