Story Plot
The Roman general Maximus is the most loyal supporter of Emperor Marcus Aurelius, who has led him from victory to victory. However, Commodus, the son of Marcus Aurelius, is jealous of Maximus' prestige and even more jealous of the love his father feels for him.
