an aging Batman who returns to Gotham City after a decade of retirement, now facing a new threat: mutant gangs. The aging Dark Knight finds himself confronting not only these gangs, but also his former ally, Superman, when the government, fearing Batman's methods, sends the Man of Steel to stop him. The Joker, meanwhile, resurfaces to challenge Batman in a deadly duel.
