Set during the height of the Cold War, flashing back through to the 1930’s with backstories of many characters from the Karla trilogy in particular. Exploring elements of The Spy Who Came In From The Cold, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Honourable Schoolboy, Smileys People et al. The series will intertwine these literary works to create a saga set in leCarre’s world of 20th century espionage.
