Story Plot
An interesting story of an entrapped woman, caught in the role that women are forced to fill and excluded from the power and strength that are seen as male roles. Elisa's dissatisfaction with her life, and her attempt to achieve some sense of accomplishment through the chrysanthemums, highlights the inequality between the two sexes. - Sara Steger
