Story Plot
Adrian McKinty's 2019 bestselling thriller novel, The Chain, follows Rachel Klein, a divorced suburban mom whose 13-year-old daughter Kylie is abducted. Rachel receives a call from a woman holding Kylie captive, demanding a ransom and threatening to kill both children if Rachel doesn't comply. The caller is another mother whose child has also been abducted.
