After murdering his parents in cold blood, Brandon Breyer, better known as Brightburn, has tried time and again to register for a university for superheroes so he can learn how to control his powers. However, he has always been rejected, either being told that he's ''too young'', or seeing that the other young supes are downright afraid of him. Outraged by this, Brandon seeks to eliminate all supes in the world, establishing himself as a god. And in his eyes, this kill list will begin with the only other supe more powerful than him... Homelander.
