Synopsis

Eggs, an orphan, lives with the Boxtrolls--a community of quirky, mischievous creatures who inhabit who inhabit a cavern beneath the city of Cheesebridge. When the villainous Archibald Snatcher hatches a plan to get rid of the harmless beings, Eggs teams up with the feisty Winnifred "Winnie" Portley-Rind to save the Boxtrolls from extinction.

A ruthless, arrogant, antagonistic and cunning pest exterminator who also cross dresses as Madame Frou-Frou and wishes to exterminate every single Boxtroll in Cheesebridge in order to usurp Lord Portley-Rind from his position as the Mayor of Cheesebridge.
