The creators of "South Park" (Trey Parker and Matt Stone) and Robert Lopez (who co-wrote the songs in "Frozen") wrote an irreverent comedic musical play that partially makes fun of the religion of Mormonism and the way the word is spread about it. Two young missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are being stationed in a remote village in Uganda to introduce the concept of the religion to the villagers and let them show their faith. Upon arrival, they see that the village is under siege of a corrupt general. All the violence, all the cursing. Elder Price (who is more prepped and proper) quits after day one, but Elder Cunningham (who is rather geeky and awkward) is able to get the villagers interested in Mormonism... by adding exaggerations to the story behind the religion.
