Synopsis

Inspired by Tangled. A young girl Ramona Goths, or Punz as she likes to be called, wishes to get to know the outside world she’s been so isolated from for so long thanks to her mother Miranda Goths (whom she’s pretty sure is a mafia boss, but that’s another story entirely). Her wish comes true (kinda) when a thief accidentally crosses paths with her at her own apartment. She then decides to take the olive branch and use “Flapjack” (seriously what kind of nickname is that) as her tour guide. Cue learning about her true parents, her growing a relationship with Gene, Gene resolving things with his friend turned mortal enemy, and music. Lots and lots of music.

Description of Sergeant Gerald Gardner:

Fred Wilder’s loyal police sergeant and adoptive father of Gene and Cassandra. While he so clearly favored the latter, he often treated the former like an outcast and frequently ignored his eating disorder, something he regrets as Fred constantly calls him out for his unintentional abuse of Gene. He tries frequently to arrest Gene for theft but to no avail and is forced to confront his own behavior as Gene stands up for him despite everything.
