Description of Ryiah:

Ryiah is the main character, she's ambitious and powerful. Out of the three factions of magic (Combat, Alchemy and Restoration) she chooses combat. She's determined and most definitely a survivor. No matter how many people try to stop her and hold her back she defies the odds. Although she is a Lowborn, she falls in love with her nemesis Prince Darren during The Apprenticeship which results in an engagement. She's thrust into the world of royalty, war and politics.
