    This is a fantastic Fan Casting! Seeing Claudia in the blue dress on Stargate sold me for her as Polgara and never though of Jeremy irons as Belgarath. The others are pretty sound too!

    The thought that went into this list- particularly the villans- is phenomenal. The mix of industry legends, veteran leading and character actors, and niche and new performers, is perfect. I would, however, say that Sir Patrick is a touch too refined to be the somewhat addled Ran Boroun. Keaton or Mark Hamill would be a better pick.
