A miniseries on HBO (it'll never happen but a man can dream)
This 10 part neo noir/psychological thriller miniseries chronicles the World's Greatest Dectective's long and winding pursuit of The Scarecrow, a terrorist bent on realizing the fears of the whole town of Gotham as he drugs the whole city's water supply with his fear toxin. It's much more grounded than other interpretations of Batman (think of the recent Joker ). Aiming for a hard TV MA rating.
