Gotham City, a dark and brooding metropolis, is under the vigilant watch of Bruce Wayne, who has served as its protector for nearly two decades. Despite his relentless efforts, the city’s criminal underworld flourishes, led by the ever-volatile Joker and his psychotic accomplice, Harley Quinn. Amidst this chaos, Bruce trains his second Robin, Jason Todd, a headstrong and eager young man desperate to prove himself worthy of the Batman legacy. As the Joker hatches a sadistic game designed to emotionally dismantle Batman, he captures Jason, igniting a perilous struggle between the mentor and the villain. Ignoring Bruce’s warnings, Jason embarks on a reckless mission to confront the Joker, believing he can outsmart him. This fateful decision leads to a brutal encounter, resulting in Jason’s tragic death at the hands of the Joker and Harley, shattering Bruce’s world. Consumed by guilt and rage, Bruce finds himself spiraling into darkness. The devastation culminates at Jason’s funeral, attended by Alfred and Barbara Gordon, where they all mourn the loss of a vibrant life extinguished too soon. In his despair, Alfred reaches out to Dick Grayson, urging him to return to Gotham to help pull Bruce back from the brink. Post Credits: In the shadows, a figure observes Bruce’s mourning, later revealed to be Deathstroke, ominously preparing for a future clash, contracted by an unknown benefactor to dismantle Batman.
