Synopsis

Prometheus flips through a newspaper, an article regarding Harvey Dent’s mayoral campaign catches his eye. Meanwhile, the media is in a frenzy when a new vigilante arrives in town: Batgirl. GCPD commissioner Jim Gordon suspects his daughter his this new hero, and doesn’t know how to feel. Barbara starts a relationship with Dick Grayson, while Bruce and Alfred plan to set a trap to catch Prometheus. When Vicki visits Bruce, he confides in her about his deep desire to hang up the cowl. Now with people like Dick and Harvey, Gotham may have a fighting chance without The Batman. The episode closes with Gordon and Dent taking down some of Roman’s goons, angering the mobster. Once again, Harvey shows distrust for the GCPD, and lashes out at a cop for almost accidentally shooting him.

Description of Prometheus:

Prometheus was a super-villain who swore to destroy justice in any form. His vendetta is a twisted parody of Batman's origin. He was the son of criminal parents and witnessed their deaths at the hands of the police. Years of traveling the world and training made him one of the most dangerous men alive.
