Sasha Bordeaux was a bodyguard for hire. She had been hired by Lucias Fox to be Bruce Waynes bodyguard in public (against Bruce’s wishes). She finds out about Bruce’s secret and he reluctantly trains her further than what she already was, she eventually goes out on patrol with him. Over this time she fell in love with him. After Hush killed Lucias Fox and Bruce was framed for his murder, she took the blame for it and was taken to Blackgate Penitentiary. She was then freed by the government agency Checkmate and rose through the ranks and became the Black Queen alongside her husband Maxwell Lord
