Synopsis

Marvel's The Avengers, also known as The Avengers and Avengers Assemble, is a 2012 superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures "Marvel's The Avengers" — the superhero team-up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel superheroes Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

  • jakubduda There were captain marvel (man) and Ms. marvel (woman), in 2012 someone changed it, they let him died and Ms. Marvel was promoted as Captain Marvel

  • jakubduda Several Marvel Captains performed in and outside Marvel, and they are listed here: Monica Rambeau (Earthly superhero currently known as Spectrum) Genis-Vell (son of Mar-Vella) Phyla-Vell (daughter of Mar-Vella) Noh-Varr (Kree from alternative reality, used the name Captain Marvel as a member of the Dark Avengers) Carol Danvers (current Captain Marvel, formerly the original Ms. Marvel) Shazam (character owned by DC Comics).
