They believe that the ends justify the means, using extreme measures to handle global threats. It begins with The Authority dismantling a corrupt government responsible for atrocities. Their brutal methods draw the attention of Amanda Waller, who sees them as both a potential asset and a threat. As they continue their missions, they face a powerful dictator who has acquired alien technology, threatening global stability. The Authority’s willingness to cross ethical lines creates internal conflict, especially between Midnighter’s ruthless approach and Apollo’s more compassionate views. The Authority stop the dictator in a destructive battle that raises questions worldwide: Are they heroes or tyrants? Their actions leave the world questioning the price of their protection. Post Credits: Amanda Waller meets with an unknown figure, discussing the need for a countermeasure against "uncontrolled gods," hinting at future teams or initiatives to control superpowered beings.
