Synopsis

Description of Agnes Cogswell:

Mickey’s long-suffering wife, a mother to 4 children. She is very close with Mim. Agnes suffers from a nervous disorder, and she frequently smokes. She longs for city comforts without losing her beautiful rural home. She is initially pleased when Mickey becomes an officer for Perly. However, she is driven mad when Perly gets revenge on Mickey for changing sides by auctioning off several of their children and poisoning their crops; aged in her mid-late 40’s
