Story Plot

Although Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker's first love, died a decade ago, he still feels blue for her to this day. On Valentine's Day, Parker goes back to the place where Gwen died. He leaves her a red rose, and then the flashback about how Peter and Mary Jane Watson met begins. The film retells the memory of Gwen standing between Mary Jane and Peter, who is berated by his friend Flash Thompson. Peter states how her death has scarred him and reveals to Mary Jane how much he misses Gwen. Instead of being angry, Mary Jane feels deep sympathy for her boyfriend and tells Peter to say hello to Gwen for her and to tell her how much she misses her, too, as they break up. Back in the present, it is implied that Harry Osborn is behind Silver Sable's attacks on Spider-Man. In the end, Black Cat asks Spider-Man to be her valentine and teaches him to love again.
