The king of Dream Land, the capital city of planet popstar, has been mind-controlled, and starts hoarding the land's food supplies for himself. On top of this, the Sun and the Moon are fighting, and the planet's people can't catch a break from the panic and confusion that is gripping the land. Kirby, a cheerful pink orb, decides to set out to put things back to normal, with help from some friends he makes along the way.
