Set in the world of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, Batman continues to fight crime in Gotham despite being hunted down by the police, who believe the vigilante responsible for the death of Harvey Dent. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne struggles to decide whether the city still needs Batman. A new detective named E. Nigma attempts to bring down the crusader once and for all by interviewing people he has allegedly interacted with following Dent's passing.
