    The 5 years from hell. Rosa is diagnosed with cancer at the age of 24, right after her boyfriend left her for a younger girl. Christina gets fired from her dream job and her family kicks her out after she comes out of the closet. Nova loses her parents and baby brother in a car crash and is rejected from the college she was promised a place in. And Lucy becomes homeless and has no choice but to couch surf after the government refuses to give her disability aid, with no safe home to fall back on. And most importantly, they lose the 5’th girl of their friend group, Dina, to a drunk driver. After everything that has happened to them, they realize that they cannot go on the way that they are doing. Nova gets them a place of work on her uncle and aunt's farm, a beautiful, cozy and big one in the south of Spain, with the other volunteer workers who work there. They get their visas, and run to Spain. On the farm, the girls go through the hardships of farm working, the dramas that sometimes come with living with strangers under the same roof, and they all get a second chance with love and life. They will give Rosa the best last year, that the universe could probably give her.
